The sites in the lower circles near the lake were extremely crowded and noisy. Lots of children playing in the streets. The upper circles were quite with very little traffic. This is a nice facility with extremely nice but limited staff. More attention should be given to litter control and to site maintenance. Once parked, we had to cut branches away from the sides and on top of the RV on our site and the site of our friends. We saw several staff members riding golf carts with tools but never once saw anyone using those tools.

Very clean, well manicured park. Their supply store is very well stocked (like a small Camping World). The streets and sites are concrete and very level. Personnel very efficient and friendly. The only negatives are things they can't change (noise from busy Hwy.231 and a nearby rail crossing with trains passing a couple of times during the night).

A GREAT park....we stayed here for a football game and not only enjoyed the park but also met some really nice Auburn Tiger fans. The only reason this park did not rate a 10 was the dusty roads. The owner had his crew watering the roads but there was so much traffic, it didn't last long. He couldn't do enough to be sure everyone there was pleased. If you're ever passing near or staying in Auburn, you'll enjoy this park.

Extremely clean and well manicured park. There is a nice view of the lake from most sites. We camped on a lake side site which was wonderful. The park was very quite. We will definitely stay here again. The only reason for not rating this park a 10 is the dump station was difficult to locate and access. The park also offers cottages located around the lake side which appeared to be very nice.

The nicest RV facility we've ever experienced. Very clean and well manicured with many special appointments. The management is the owner and his immediately family. The resort is still under construction but the completed portion is exceptional. We recommend this resort whether for a one night stay or for an extended stay. It is approximately 20 minutes west of I-75 near Gainesville, FL.

A great getaway park with beautiful beaches, undisturbed sand dunes, polite campground host and professional state employed staff. We walked miles along the beach without seeing anyone. Everything about the state park is a "10" except for the actual campground sites. There are no improved parking pads. In all cases, you're either parking on sand and/or grass lots. If you want to enjoy some solitude, this is your place.

Many of the sites are small, but reservations can be made for 50' and 60' sites to accommodate larger rigs. This is a very nice and clean campground with accommodating state employees. The only negative points are narrow roads, (unhook your toad at the registration office), and the steep railroad crossing in Rutledge, which can be avoided by not turning right to cross it, but stay straight ahead traveling 1.2 miles west to the second right, which will be Old Mill Road. This road has a level RR crossing. When this road ends, (about 2 miles), the park entrance will be on your left. The golf course is nice especially for the money ($10 for 18 holes if you walk).

GREAT FACILITY......there are many sites right on the lake with beautiful views. Nice park for walking and/or bike riding. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. You will want to stay more than several nights.
